Reservation Deposit
A deposit of $1,000.00 is due at the time of booking and will be applied towards your booking fee. The final payment is due 8 weeks prior to the departure date.

What forms of payment are accepted?
If you’ve got money and want to spend it on a great vacation, you’ve found the right place! We accept all major credit cards, cash and personal checks.
What if I need to cancel my vacation?
Reservations may be cancelled within five (5) days of booking. Cancelling your reservation beyond five (5) days will result in forfeiture of your Reservation Deposit and other applicable charges. Additionally, after you have made your First and/or Second Payment towards your vacation’s balance, Lake Roosevelt Adventures will refund your payment(s) only if your vacation is sold to another customer.

A specific time will be assigned to you one week prior. Check-in and Check-out times will be given to you during orientation.

After your orientation, you will be driven out of the marina and given a short lesson on beaching and the rules of the lake. All boats must be beached every night.
Start & Return Time
Houseboat boarding begins at your assigned time on the trip’s start date and houseboats are due back at your assigned time on the date of return. Be timely…$250.00 per hour will be charged for late returns.
Pets
1 (one) pet is allowed for free. Each additional pet is $100.
Fuel
The houseboat engine burns 4-5 gallons per hour. The larger boats include a generator to recharge the boat’s battery system. Typically, you will need to run the generator 3-4 hours per day to keep the system charged and engine normally burns one gallon per hour. Because these boats have a single motor, they are very economical to operate. The price of fuel is controlled by the National Park Service. And no, we can’t tell you how much fuel cost to consider, because that’s totally dependent upon your escapades on the Lake!
Generators
During your orientation, you will be instructed when to turn the generator on. The power meter is color coded (Green-Good, Yellow-Getting Depleted, Red-Charge Now).
Follow the placarded generator operating instructions STEP BY STEP. Many systems can be run for hours on battery power, while certain systems, like the hot tub jets, dishwasher, and air conditioner require the generator to function.
DO NOT EVER SWIM NEAR THE BACK OF THE HOUSEBOAT WHILE THE GENERATOR IS RUNNING.
Is there fresh water on board?
Yes, 105 gallons for the Nova & Galaxy Class, and 30 for the Luna Class and Explorer Class for consumption. All other water running in the houseboat (shower, dishwashing, etc.) is filtered lake water.
Emergency VHF Communication
For all houseboat guests, your houseboat is equipped with VHF Marine Radio. This radio is monitored during the day. Use channel 16 for emergencies and initiating contact only. Channel 2 (not 02) is available for weather forecasts.
Departure
On the last day of your vacation, your houseboat should be floating outside the log boom at your assigned time. (You will not be allowed to drive the houseboat inside a marina boundary line.) For your safety and ours, we kindly ask that everyone is packed and ready for offload at this time.
When you arrive at the log boom , please call “Lake Roosevelt Adventures Operations” on VHF Channel 16 or 509-725-7229, which is the Seven Bays Marina. Our staff will come out and drive you to the dock.
(Please note, the marina does not open until 9:00am, so don’t be alarmed if no one answers prior to that hour.)
Fueling Up
Once at the fuel dock, we recommend sending people to the parking lot to retrieve cars and take them over to the houseboat dock – it’s easiest this way.
